Half of all college students begin at Community Colleges*. In fact, thousands of EGCC students have successfully transferred to colleges and universities all over Ohio and across the country.

Students enrolled in academic programs at EGCC can take a variety of classes that are considered general education, or freshman and sophomore level courses at other colleges and universities.  Below is a sample of popular courses they have taken. (This list is not exhaustive – it’s intended to give students an idea of what EGCC has to offer!)

The transferability of credit is always up to the receiving institution. So, it’s important to start early to work with the institution to which you plan on transferring to determine the credits they will accept.
